The news that Amy Kirwin will be leaving Southampton and taking a position at Guild Hall was a sad surprise [“Amy Kirwin Joins Guild Hall As Its First Chief Creative Officer,” 27east.com, January 5]. She has been an incredible gift to our community and has taken the “old Parrish Art Museum” and turned it into a thriving year-round venue with diverse and vibrant programming.
Amy, you will be dearly missed by many — East Hampton is especially lucky to have you. Congratulations!
