Yves Frank Mao Hentic of Southampton died on May 4, 2017. He was 70.
The son of Pierre Yves Marie Hentic and Dorothy Smith Hentic, he was a graduate of the Indian Mountain School, Georgetown University (1970), FIT (1972) and Harvard Business School (1975). He was assistant treasurer and chief steward of the St. Nicholas Society and a life member of Colonial Wars of New York and New Jersey. He was a member of The New York Stock Exchange, Kane Lodge #454, The Southampton Club and The Brook. He ran two brokerage firms, Yves Hentic and Co. and Archimedes Management. He was a world record fisherman, a certified cave diver, an avid croquet enthusiast and a ranked poker player.
Mr. Hentic is survived by his wife, Pandora Duke Biddle; his son, Frank Hentic; his daughter, Yvie Biddle Hentic; and a granddaughter, Maxime Hentic. He was buried on Sunday, May 7. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Brockett Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at a late date.
