Two lots at 195 and 211 Bridge Lane in Bridgehampton are being packaged together for $25 million. The 5.9-acre listing has two houses, the main house with waterfront on Sagg Pond and the secondary house on Bridge Lane. A sizable par-three golf hole separates them, though it seems no one has played there for years.
The smaller house on Bridge Lane originally occupied the waterfront property, but to make way for the main house the family had it moved to the street to use as a guest house. Paul Brennan, the broker on the deal, said, “Both houses are likely to be torn down.” For that price tag a buyer will want a personalized compound, and the building lot allows for a many options. The property came on the market last week through Douglas Elliman.
Across Sagg Pond on the Sagaponack side another two-lot package at 1145 Sagg Main was listed this week for just under $35 million. The sale consists of a 6,000-square-foot-house on 7 acres of oceanfront combined with another 23 acres of farmland preserve. The house alone is listed for $29 million and the farmland separately for $6 million. Richard Treibick, who died earlier this year, bought the house for $1.8 million in 1995 and later the farmland for $750,000, according to the Wall Street Journal.
