A historic Sag Harbor compound restored by designer Steven Gambrel recently sold for $6.25 million.

Dating back to 1810, the colonial compound has a main house, a guest house and a pool pavilion.

The main house is 3,200 square feet with four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one-half bath. That includes the master suite with a balcony that overlooks a vaulted library. The residence also has a third-floor playroom, a butler’s pantry, a formal dining room, an eat-in kitchen and a parlor. A rear deck off the kitchen provides for outdoor dining and entertaining.

Throughout the house are wide-plank floors made with reclaimed Pennsylvania barn wood. It also has four working fireplaces.

The guest house has a living/dining room, a guest suite and central heating and air. Inside the pool pavilion find a wet bar/kitchenette and changing rooms.

The gunite pool is heated, and the whole package sits on a shy acre in the heart of the village.

The seller was Main at Sag LLC and the buyers were Samuel and Taryn Blank, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. The deal closed on May 25.

Susan Breitenbach of The Corcoran Group had the listing.
