A waterfront shingled postmodern in North Haven recently sold for $7.08 million after last asking $7.5 million.

On 1.5 acres, the property at 78 Ferry Road has 123 feet on Great Pond Creek, which leads out to the upper harbor of Sag Harbor. The 4,000-square-foot, five-bedroom residence has multiple living and entertaining areas both inside and outside, according to the listing from The Corcoran Group.

The first floor has an open floor plan with large windows and French doors. The floor includes a living room with fireplace, a formal dining area, a chef’s kitchen with an informal dining area, and a large laundry room. The two-car garage is attached.

Find the master suite with a private deck, a marble bathroom and a large walk-in closet on the second floor. Rounding out the level are three guest bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sitting room facing the waterfront.

The third level is host to a home office with a deck, and down on the lower level are a game area and a screening room.

Outdoors, enjoy several decks, stone patios surrounding the large heated gunite pool and spa, and rolling lawns, gardens, specimen plantings and trees. A pool house has an outdoor shower, and the property also comes with a dock.

The sellers were Debra and Scott Edelman and the new owner is SBJ Group LLC, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. The deal closed on July 20.

Peter Huffine and Frederick Wallenmaier of Corcoran represented the sellers. The Mala Sander Team at Corcoran brought the buyer.
