The Watermill Center (TWC), an interdisciplinary laboratory for the arts and humanities, continues its autumn programming with tours and its year-round open studio series, In Process, which allows unique insight into the work of TWC’s rotating roster of artists-in-residence.

Here’s what’s coming up at TWC:

Friday, December 9, at 5:30 p.m. – In Process With Eli Berman and Netta Yerushamly

In Process @ The Watermill Center is an ongoing series of studio visits that invites the community to gain insight into the creative process of international artists-in-residence, cultivating an understanding of how artists from across the globe develop new work.

Saturday, December 10, at 2:30 p.m. – Exhibition Tour of “Christopher Knowles / STAND”

This comprehensive exhibition of Knowles’s work covers a broad range of his artistic career from the 1970s through today, including drawings, typings, paintings, sculpture and sound work. This exhibition is the result of an in-depth two-year examination of Knowles’s vast archive that revealed many new associations, bodies of works, and approaches providing a unique and highly comprehensive insight into Knowles’s artistic oeuvre. Highlights include groups of work that have never been exhibited publicly as well as new paintings and sculpture.

Friday, December 16, at 2:30 p.m. – Guided tour of The Watermill Center

Guests are invited to walk through history, exploring the carefully curated art collection, expansive library, manicured gardens and historic building. Tours of The Watermill Center offers a unique chance to see how the 10+ acre campus acts as a source of inspiration for the year-round artists-in-residence as they push the boundaries of creative practice.

The Watermill Center is at 39 Water Mill Towd Road, Water Mill. For details, visit watermillcenter.org.
