It’s December and Splish Splash Waterpark is now been transformed and is open to the public as the “Riverhead Holiday Light Show,” a drive-thru event featuring an entire mile of diverse, holiday light displays. By tuning the radio to the station provided, families and friends will enjoy a synchronized marriage of sights and sounds as the characters animate in time with music. There’s lots to see, so visitors can expect to take 20 to 25 minutes to drive through the show in its entirety.

The show runs on select dates through December 31. Advance tickets are $25 per car load when purchased online, or $62.50 for a season pass, which requires no reservation. Tickets may be purchased at the gate, although availability is not guaranteed. A full show schedule and tickets are available at holidaylightshow.com.

“The ‘Holiday Light Show’ delivers something new and unexpected every year,” says Matthew Glaser, CEO of Bold Media, the parent company and producer of the even which produces light shows at locations around the country. “Our displays portray a diversity of holiday traditions, so there is truly something for everyone. Nothing brings the joy of the holidays to life like a festival of holiday lights. This year’s ‘Holiday Light Show’ is sure to amaze both new and returning guests of all ages.”

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own holiday treats along, as they enjoy the lights from the comfort of their own vehicle. Whether it's a date night, a family outing or a special trip with grandparents, the show is a bright way to welcome the holiday season.
