Paul Davis Art Celebrates the City of Paris

Artist and graphic designer Paul Davis was among 39 artists from 16 countries to participate in “Celebrate the City,” an outdoor exhibition of posters sponsored by the Mayoralty of Paris on the theme, “Celebrate the City.”

Mr. Davis, a Sag Harbor resident, attended the opening of the show on the Champs Ulysses on January 19, along with artists from Europe, South America and Asia.

The exhibition is part of the third annual Fete du Graphisme. Countries represented include France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Russia, Israel, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Argentina, and the United States. Posters also are scheduled to pop up in various neighborhoods around Paris until February 17. Mr. Davis’s work was seen on the Avenue de l’Opera and currently is on display at rue de Grenelle and Avenue Bosquet in the 7th arrondissment.
