Joan C. Wells Vagan
Joan Catherine Wells Vagan of East Hampton died at home Monday, April 4. She was 78.
Born on New Year’s Day, 1933, to George and Frances Wells (née Golden) in Brooklyn, she attended Dominican Academy Catholic High School.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Vagan; sister, Eileen Wells Tublin of Brooklyn; niece, Pamela Tublin Cook; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, George, John and James.
A memorial service was held Thursday, April 7, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in East Hampton. Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
