William P. Laughlin, 73, died at home in New York City on February 25, 2008, after a brief illness.
Brother to Linda, brother-in-law to Monte and Russell, uncle to Melinda, grunkle" to Herron, Hazel and ?Minnie, and known as Willy to a ?wide circle of friends and ?acquaintances, he was a fount of incidental information, according to ?his sister.
Describing him as a sweet man who was generous of spirit, his sister said this week that he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He will be remembered on April 16 at the Racquet and Tennis Club, 370 Park Avenue in New York, from 6 to 8 p.m. All his friends are invited.
