Richard Vargas
Richard Vargas of Hampton Bays died on August 30. He was 25.
Born in Pereira, Colombia, Mr. Vargas moved to the United States with his parents, Carlos and Matilde Vargas, and sisters, Yamileth and Maritza, at a very young age. He worked for Panorama Glass of Hampton Bays as a window repairman.
In addition to his parents and two sisters, he is survived by a niece, Natalie Gomez, and a cousin, Edward Arias, all of Hampton Bays.
Funeral services were held on September 2 at J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays, with the Reverend and Mrs. Habacuc Vargas of the Church of the Nazarene in Springs officiating. Interment followed on September 3 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.
