Serena M. Mintzer, a resident of East Hampton for 10 years, died on July 31 at Southampton Hospital after a long illness. She was 75.
Born October 30, 1932, in Brooklyn to Giussepe and Vitina (née Riggio) Maltese, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Mintzer of East Hampton; a daughter, Leslie Mintzer of New York City; a son, Laurence Mintzer of Scarsdale; a sister, Flora Arnold of Sag Harbor and Maine; and three grandchildren, Zoe, Kira and Jack.
A graveside service was held on August 4 at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in East Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, 115 Broadway, 13th Floor, New York, NY 10006 would be appreciated by the family.
