Susan M. Kristopowitz of Wainscott died on October 5 at Southampton Hospital. She was 63.
Born in 1945 to Joseph and Wanda (née Dankowski) Kristopowitz, she graduated from East Hampton High School in 1963. She retired from Long Island University at Southampton College.
She is survived by a sister, Emily Smeraldo of Florida; a brother, Joseph Kristopowitz of Liverpool, New York; a niece, Amanda Kristopowitz; two nephews, Marvin Brew and Bryan Kristopowitz; and a great-nephew, A.J. Brew.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral mass will held on Friday, October 9, at 9:30 a.m., at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Bridgehampton, followed by interment at Wainscott Cemetery.
