Hayground School’s 12th annual Chefs Dinner Benefit is coming Sunday, July 31.
The $1,200-per-person dinner will honor chef Claudia Fleming of North Fork Table & Inn and Toni Ross, a co-owner of Nick & Toni’s and co-founder of Hayground School. The dinner will be prepared by culinary experts including Josh Capon, Elizabeth Falkner, Marc Meyer, Christian Mir and others.
Hor d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served at 5 p.m. on the school grounds. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in Jeff’s Kitchen, which was founded at the school’s Culinary Arts program in honor of the late Jeff Salaway. Proceeds from a live auction will benefit the school.

Red|Bar Brasserie in Southampton Village has announced that Todd Jacobs is the new executive chef.
The Red|Bar staff, including long-time chef de cuisine Mike Rozino, are all excited for Mr. Jacobs’s new position, according to the restaurant. He has worked at a variety of restaurants including American Hotel in Sag Harbor and Atlantica in Long Beach. Mr. Jacobs’s food will feature local and all-natural ingredients, along with vegan cuisine.

The Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton will host the annual Farm to Fork Gala on Saturday, July 9. The gala will focus on using local, fresh ingredients and the farm-to-table approach to cooking in support of the Food Pantry Farm.
“Today, we continue to provide nutritious produce to the food pantries and bring members of the community together in a common purpose to offer healthful local food to those who need it, said Founder John Malafonte.

East Hampton is now the home of a wide variety of tasty organic jams with the Hampton Jam Company.
The organic jams were crafted by chef Joe Cipro and his wife, Jessica, with no artificial or genetically modified materials. Jam spreads are made from organic fruit, organic spices, organic sugar, and organic lemon. Hampton Jam’s first set of flavors include Blueberry, Apple & Tart Cherry, and Strawberry Lemonade.

Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack will release the second vintage of Finca Wölffer Rosé, grown in Mendoza, Argentina, on July 1. Wölffer winemaker Roman Roth, renowned Argentine winemaker Susana Balbo and her son José Lovaglio have collaborated to bring an improved version. Component varietals include 41 percent Malbec, 19 percent Pinot Noir, 14 percent Syrah, 9 percent Torrontes, 8 percent Pinot Gris, 5 percent Sauvignon Blanc and 4 percent Cabernet Sauvignon.
