“Planters: On + Off The Ground V” was held at LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton on Saturday, June 23. The invitational was judged by Ina Garten, April Gornik and Fred Stelle.

Ms. Garten’s first-place choice was “1967 Yen” by Craig James Socia of Craig James Socia Garden Design. Her honorable mention went to The Laurel Group.

Ms. Gornik’s first-place choice was “A La Carte” by Madeline Piro of Serene Scapes of L.I. Her honorable mention went to “1967 Yen” by Craig James Socia Garden Design.

Mr. Stelle’s first-place choice was “(Self) Contained” by Hope Sandrow, in collaboration with Jane Iselin. His honorable mention went to Harvey Bernstein for “Sustainable Containable.”

This year, the People’s Choice award went to Dennis Schrader of Landraft Environments for “Rain Forest.”
