Members of the United Way’s YouthBuild group planted flowers at the Hampton Bays apartments on Springville Road earlier this summer. Flats of petunias, impatiens and other summer flowers had been donated by Lynch’s Garden Center of Southampton, and were said to make a fine complement to shrubs and trees donated by Werner Sommer and Seatuck Nursery of Eastport and planted by Superior Landscaping last fall.
