SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — A woman reported to Village Police on April 22 that three days earlier, on April 19, when she was shopping at a Main Street store, she had placed her red leather Louis Vuitton rectangular purse down as she was looking at some merchandise. The purse, the woman told police, had her initials embroidered on it, and was valued at $1,000. The woman said she also had $120 inside the purse. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — On the night of April 15, Village Police received a complaint of an assault from a woman who was being treated at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for an injury. The woman stated that she was a resident of an apartment on Main Street, and had gone out onto her porch, when a neighbor in an adjoining building began yelling at her. The two, she said, eventually got into a physical altercation in which she said she was injured. Police then interviewed the man the woman had accused of assaulting her.
