SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Alexander W. Meyer, 50, a Meredith Avenue homeowner, was arrested by Sag Harbor Village Police last Thursday afternoon on an unlawful eviction charge, a misdemeanor. According to the complaint, the female tenant of an apartment located in a private house on Meredith Avenue had returned home that day, after being away for a few days, only to find many of her belongings boxed up and outside the house. She was able to access her apartment, but when she did, she told police, the rest of her possessions were also boxed up and furniture had been removed ...

SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — On the night of April 15, Village Police received a complaint of an assault from a woman who was being treated at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for an injury. The woman stated that she was a resident of an apartment on Main Street, and had gone out onto her porch, when a neighbor in an adjoining building began yelling at her. The two, she said, eventually got into a physical altercation in which she said she was injured. Police then interviewed the man the woman had accused of assaulting her.
