My family and I want to give a heartfelt thank you to the Southampton Village Police and EMS.
When my father took ill last Wednesday, within moments of hanging up the phone with the police department, officers and EMS were at our door administering care.
You know you live in a small town when the officers know your family on a first-name basis. All involved acted with the utmost professionalism and respect for my family. I am proud to know that this village has employees and volunteers who go above and beyond their call to serve.
We must remember, during these turbulent times, that community is everything, and it is critical to give thanks to those who serve our community.
