Delivering On Promises

Mayor Jesse Warren has my full support for several reasons: He has lowered taxes, revived our downtown, brought village government into the 21st century with new technology, increased law enforcement funding, cleaned Lake Agawam, supported our veterans, and kept us all safe during the pandemic.

What I most appreciate about Mayor Warren is his capacity to deliver on his promises. When Mayor Warren pledges to do something, he always follows through.

One need only look at his campaign materials from the 2019 mayoral election: He has fulfilled all of his promises, and then some.

Our village currently finds itself at an important crossroads as we navigate such issues as overdevelopment, debt and pollution. We need a trustworthy mayor to steer us in the right direction, and Mayor Warren’s track record speaks for itself. There is no one more trustworthy than he. Furthermore, he consistently communicates with residents to learn about how he can best support our needs. I know that I can always reach out to him with any problem I would like him to address. We can count on him.

A village resident for over a decade, he is also a small-business owner and somehow still manages to work 60 to 80 hours per week in his role as village mayor. He has dedicated all of himself to this job and is one of the most hardworking public servants I know. His policies strike a perfect balance of preserving our historic village while changing the systems that have kept us from moving forward.

He has done an excellent job leading Southampton Village, and it is my honor to vote for him on June 18.
