Edwin 'Butch' A. Oliver of Southampton Dies May 30

Edwin “Butch” A. Oliver of Southampton died May 30 in Morgantown, West Virginia. He was 67.

Born on June 11, 1947, in Huntington to Edwin G. and Lillian G. Oliver, he grew up in Southampton and graduated from Southampton High School before joining the United States Air Force. He served in the Air Force from June 30, 1966, to October 28, 1970. Over the years he worked in the trucking business and helped found ATC Trucking. He had recently retired to Port Orange, Florida.

Mr. Oliver is survived by a daughter, Danielle Wouters-Malewicz; four siblings, Lois, William, Lorna Oliver and Cynthia Bacon; nieces and nephews, Nancy Rossetti-Carney, Jennifer Rossetti, Sara and Zachary Bacon and Ryan Woznick; he was great-uncle to Edwin and Emma Carney, and Brett Nieves.
