Hasaraf A. Munitaz, Formerly Of Southampton, Dies March 17

Hasaraf A. Munitaz

Former Southampton resident Hasaraf A. Munitaz of Orlando, Florida, died on March 17. He was 78.

Born in New Amsterdam, Guyana on February 18, 1934, he moved to the United States, settling in Southampton, where he became known as “Ali.” 
He married Seerojnie in July 1982. He enjoyed woodworking and Indian movies. Survivors remember him as a man of 
many friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Fazil Hasrafally and his wife Julie; Zahid Hasrafally and his wife Zena; two daughters, Fareen Ramkhelawan and her husband Bram, and Shireen Finney and her husband Jonathan; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were on March 24 at the Kingdom 
Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Orlando.
