Long Island Restaurant Week Winter Edition

On the heels of the 10th annual fall Long Island Restaurant Week, an inaugural winter edition has been announced.

The winter edition is coming up January 22 to 29 offering $27.95 three-course prix fixe meals at participating restaurants. Le Charlot and Saaz in Southampton, Stone Creek Inn in East Quogue and Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton are among the South Fork restaurants already signed up to take part.

Presented by Long Island Restaurant and Hospitality Group, Long Island Restaurant Week also has a spring edition, in April—and Hamptons Restaurant Week, presented by WordHampton Public Relations, is also in April.

Local Margarita Mix
Now Available In Gift Set

Keith’s Nervous Breakdown Margarita Mix, the cocktail mix by Golden Pear proprietor Keith Davis, is now available in a gift set for the holidays.

In addition to a 750-milliliter bottle of the pink margarita mix—made with lime, lemon, orange, cranberry and pomegranate juices, as well as organic agave—the gift box includes a 4-ounce tin of Atlantic sea salt and two branded mason jars.

Mr. Davis, a Hampton Bays resident, has Golden Pear cafés in Southampton, Bridgehampton, East Hampton and Sag Harbor.

Praise For Wölffer

Mark Squires of Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate has named Wölffer Estate Vineyard’s Fatalis Fatum Red Blend 2013 and Caya Cabernet Franc 2013 to his Best of 2016 list.

2013 was an exceptional growing season for Long Island, and Wölffer, in Sagaponack, stated that the favorable conditions resulted in some of its best wines.
