The North Fork TV Festival has announced that the recipient of this year’s Canopy Award will be “Law & Order” and “F.B.I.” star Jeremy Sisto. A formal ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 17, as part of the festival’s drive-in event at the Castello di Borghese Vineyard in Cutchogue. Parking opens at 5:30 p.m., food goes on sale at 6 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m.

“We are truly grateful for Jeremy Sisto’s extraordinary contributions to the entertainment community,” said festival founder Noah Doyle. “It is an honor to present him with the Canopy Award and recognize his enthusiasm for the future of independent scripted television.”

The Canopy Award honors a member of the New York television community. The winner’s persistence and integrity, bound by the twin spirits of independence and collaboration, stoke the creative ambitions of diverse people who have important stories to tell. The ceremony will feature a conversation between Sisto and News12’s Elisa DiStefano with an audience Q&A to follow. Tickets starting at $20 per vehicle at northfork.tv/tickets. For more information, including the full list of events and screenings visit northfork.tv.

In adherence with COVID-19 guidelines, the festival will provide designated parking spaces for each vehicle, set at least 6 feet apart and require masks. Now in its fifth year, The North Fork TV Festival celebrates the evolution of television and independent television while convening the innovative minds of executives, directors, writers and actors. Held annually in Greenport, the festival supports independent program development and embraces exciting, innovative voices from around the world.
