An 8,000-square-foot, shingle-style estate in Bridgehampton, previously owned by Melanie Roy-Friedman — who is Rodney Dangerfield’s daughter — recently sold for a respectable $14.5 million, albeit nearly $2 million less than asking price.

Built in 2008, the six-bedroom, six-bath home at 276 Surfside Drive features views of both Sagg Pond and the Atlantic Ocean from its multiple terraces, with a direct path to the beach just beyond the gated entry.

A grand foyer anchors the first level, leading into a double-height great room divided from a billiard lounge by a double-sided fireplace. The chef’s kitchen is outfitted with marble counters, SubZero and Viking appliances, a large center island, a breakfast area, and sliding glass doors that open to a screened-in porch, double-sided brick fireplace and an outdoor dining area. From the kitchen, the butler’s pantry with a wine fridge leads to a formal dining room, and an attached two-car garage, mudroom and staff quarters complete the main level.

Upstairs is home to the master suite, as well as a separate guest wing and an expansive rear terrace with a wood-burning fireplace that “promises evenings under the stars and sweeping views of Sagg Pond,” according to the listing. A spiral staircase leads to a third-level space and observation deck with ocean vistas.

The professionally landscaped lawn divides the home from a secluded 20-foot-by-40-foot heated gunite pool and spa, with a 1,300-square-foot cottage-style pool house nearby — complete with a full bathroom, shaded terrace and potential for a kitchen.

The deal closed on October 15, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., and Bespoke Real Estate represented the seller. The new owner is 276 Surfside LLC.
