With the return of autumn, The 1770 House has brought back a three-course prix fixe.
A choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert is priced at $35 all night Sunday through Thursday and until 6:30 on Fridays and Saturdays, except for holidays.
For those who do not favor sweets, a selection from the international cheese menu can be substituted for dessert.
A Tavern wine and cheese tasting will be held on Saturday, October 17, at 5:30 p.m., when restaurant manager Michael Cohen initiates the first in a series of informal tastings. The tasting costs $30 per guest; advance reservations are required due to limited space.

Cittateca Thursdays began on October 8 at Cittanuova on Newtown Lane in East Hampton, with the restaurant’s Italian sommelier offering informal wine tastings featuring a new region each month. The spotlight is on the island of Sardegna in October, all leading up to a “Wine & Food Tour” dinner on October 29.

Steak and Pasta nights are back at Cittanuova every Wednesday, featuring the Tagliata style steak for $19.
Doppia Pasta Night is offered on Thursday, when entrée-size pasta dishes are offered for the price of the smaller portion.

Blue Sky Mediterranean Lounge on Main Street in Sag Harbor has announced a new dessert menu, with new items including: pâtisserie “Blue Sky” trio aux chocolat, $12; crème brulée, $8; fresh fruit tart with gelato, $9; profiteroles vanilla crème, $9; white chocolate crème brulée, $9; mango, raspberry and lemon sorbet, $3 (per serving); and Gianduia chocolate, hazelnut, amaretto, vanilla and dark chocolate gelato, $3 (per serving).
Blue Sky has also updated its lunch menu, available every day beginning at 11:30 a.m. The lunch menu is a modified version of the Mediterranean dinner menu.
Blue Sky has also revamped the patio room, transforming it into a “Fireplace Lounge” with frosted windows, large 54-inch screen TV, and a piano from Harrods in London. There will be weekly performances by a jazz duo, exotic belly dancers, Spanish guitars, and a DJ night.
Wednesdays are DJ Night with DJ By Karolina from 9 p.m. to midnight. Every other Thursday, starting October 22, there will be a belly dancing show with performances at 10, 10:30. and 11 p.m., with a $7 door charge the night of the belly dancing show.
Spanish guitars will take the stage on Friday from 9 p.m. to midnight and a jazz duo will perform on Saturdays from 9 p.m. to midnight. The Fireplace Lounge will also host “Sunday & Monday Sports Arena” with an afternoon tapas menu and drink specials

Matto at 104 North Main Street in East Hampton has announced a new fall prix fixe served daily for $29 per person, including a complimentary glass of wine for each diner. The three-course special menu is available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday all night and on Saturday from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

In the five months since Cavaniola’s Gourmet Cheese and Wine Cellar on Division Street in Sag Harbor opened a Gourmet Kitchen for take-out next door, certain offerings have established themselves as customer favorites.
Currently, some of the Gourmet Kitchen’s best-sellers are the crabcakes, meatloaf (a blend of kobe brisket, veal and pork stuffed with 5-year-old gouda), house mac and cheese, and celery salad with dates, pecorino, and walnuts. Also offered is a small selection of fresh fish and fresh pasta.
