When I first noticed the permit that got posted in Napeague State Park a few months ago, I knew more trees were on the chopping block.
Of course the blue and orange wasn’t done for the Metropolitans, Islanders or Knickerbockers. I can only assume the orange is a buffer. The blue will be the healthy casualties.
Though I have yet to see the new maps or findings of any Southern Pine Beetle along the bay side. Preventative management could become an eye opener.
