Job Title: Mermaid Makeover Assistant – Seasonal (Summer 2025)
Location: Mermaid Academy, 5 Union St, Sag Harbor, NY
Schedule: Weekends Only | June 28 – September 7
Shifts: Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm
Must be imaginative and playful
$22/hr
Job Description:
Join the magical world of Mermaid Academy, where you’ll help transform children into mermaids with hair styling, glitter application, face jewel, and accessory setup. Ideal for creative, energetic individuals who love working with kids in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Style hair and apply glitter, gems, and gems on face
• Help kids into mermaid tails and accessories
• Set up and clean makeover stations
• Lead small games and encourage a joyful atmosphere
• Ensure every guest leaves feeling magical and confident
Requirements:
• Great with children (ages 4–10)
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable
• Basic styling or craft experience a plus
• Must be available on weekends
