Job Summary:
The Bridgehampton Club is seeking several qualified individuals to join our team in 2026. The Club will be entering our 126th year in Bridgehampton and need several employees to take us to the next level. We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our golf course maintenance team. The Golf Course Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the pristine condition of our course. This role involves operating equipment, maintaining turf, and contributing to a positive and safe working environment. Our crew is mainly Spanish speaking, bilingual is a huge plus. You will be expected to work 6 days per week during the peak season of Memorial Day through Labor Day, starting at 6am.
Key Responsibilities:
Mowing: Operate various types of mowers (walk-behind, riding) to cut greens, tees, fairways, and roughs to specified heights.
Turf Care: Perform tasks such as aerating, topdressing, verticutting, and patching/sodding under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent.
Course Setup: Rake and maintain sand traps, change hole locations, and set up tee markers and other course accessories.
General Landscaping: Trim trees and shrubs, remove debris, and assist with landscaping projects around the course.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate and perform daily inspections on a variety of maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles.
Irrigation: Assist with the repair and maintenance of the irrigation system as needed.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and maintain a high standard of course quality.
Qualifications:
Ability to operate various types of maintenance equipment or a willingness to learn.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Work Schedule:
Full-time and/or part-time positions available.
Early mornings, weekends, and holidays may be required, especially during peak seasons.
