I am writing this letter to support and elect Elizabeth Kotz on December 8 to the position of commissioner of the Bridgehampton Fire District.
Elizabeth is the first woman to seek the position of commissioner. Her previous 30 years of serving on the Bridgehampton School Board, Bridgehampton Library Board and budgeting committees gives us the integrity, intelligence and experience that taxpayers now need for this position.
Her support for the community is tireless. Elizabeth is familiar with state guidelines for municipal and public boards and will be able to appropriate properly the over $3 million from the district budget.
Elizabeth is the best choice for this position. Please come and join me. Vote on December 8, 6 to 9 p.m., Bridgehampton Firehouse. Elect Elizabeth Kotz for commissioner of Bridgehampton Fire District. Thank You.
Timothy R. Sieger

During the May 9 Southampton Village Board meeting, I criticized Bill Manger and his trustees for their refusal to eliminate post-service lifetime benefits, granting themselves pay raises, and a contentious zoning code change. This zone change was pushed through, clearly...
